Ana earned a Bachelor in Kinesiology and Physical therapy in the School of Kinesiology and Physical Therapy School of Medicine in the University of Buenos Aires Argentina in 1994. Before coming to Canada in 1998, Ana worked in acute care hospitals and geriatrics centers. In 2001 she successfully completed the Physiotherapy National Exam and become a Registered Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Ana is also a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
Analia is presently working as a Physiotherapist at the Holland Centre of Sunnybrook. She has worked in all the clinical areas in this hospital and is presently the Surgical Program Physiotherapist in the Work Conditioning Program. She provides orthopedic and musculo-skeletal assessments and treatment to improve the function of her patients.
Due to Ana’s interest in exercise programs for people with Osteoarthritis of the hip and knee, she become a certified GLA:D™ Canada therapist. She joined Pro Motion Physiotherapy in 2018 where she teaches the GLA:D™ Program, helping patients with hip and knee osteoarthritis. Analia believes in a functional approach of treatment by the use of manual therapy skills, education and exercise prescription to achieve maximum functional goals.
